Security Manager – Hotel Operations

About the role

The Security Manager will lead all security activities for the Fairmont Agra hotel, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for guests, employees, and visitors. This senior position reports to senior hotel leadership and oversees a dedicated security team.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily security operations across the hotel, restricted areas, and grounds.
• Manage access‑control systems, CCTV infrastructure, patrol schedules, and incident‑response protocols.
• Lead, mentor and develop the security team, fostering high performance and accountability.
• Develop, implement and update emergency response plans for fire, medical, evacuation and natural‑disaster scenarios.
• Conduct risk assessments, lead emergency drills and deliver preparedness training across all departments.
• Respond to security incidents with calm authority, document events and analyse trends to recommend improvements.
• Promote a culture of safety awareness and security consciousness throughout the organization.
• Oversee maintenance of security technology, manage vendor relationships and report on security metrics.

Required profile

• Proven leadership experience managing security teams.
• Expertise in risk assessment, incident investigation and emergency response planning.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Ability to remain composed and decisive under pressure.
