Security Guard

About the role

As a professionally trained Security Guard for G4S, you could be a member of the security team responsible for securing premises, such as building sites, courts, shops, warehouses, banks and factories. You would be conducting foot or vehicle patrols, controlling access at points of entry, securing equipment and people, responding to emergencies, monitoring CCTV, surveillance operative and helping to identify and prevent criminal activity. You will ensure safety of people and assets while maintaining compliance with all security protocols.

Key responsibilities

• Protect premises, property, and information.
• Report daily to the supervisor with all required reports.
• Adhere to all policies, procedures, health, safety and environment instructions.
• Operate and monitor security systems.
• Control entry and exit of individuals, materials, and vehicles.
• Patrol on foot to identify hazardous situations.
• Patrol parking areas to ensure vehicle safety and detect unauthorized persons.
• Write appropriate incident and activity reports.

Required profile

• Minimum education: 10th Pass.
• Height: at least 5 ft 7 in for men, 5 ft for women.
• Age: 18‑35 for freshers, up to 40 for experienced guards.
• Physically and medically fit, presenting a mature appearance.
