Security & Facilities Officer

About the role

We are seeking a Security & Facilities Officer to manage access control, conduct regular patrols, and support emergency response across our site, including fabrication shops, warehouses, jetty and yard premises.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and control entry and exit of employees, contractors, visitors and vehicles, verifying IDs, permits and material movement documents.
• Conduct regular security patrols across all operational areas to prevent theft, trespassing, vandalism and unauthorized activities.
• Operate CCTV, access‑control and alarm systems, maintaining accurate logs of personnel movement, visitor passes and vehicle entries.
• Verify inward and outward material movement in coordination with Stores, Logistics and Project teams.
• Support emergency response for fire, medical incidents, natural calamities and security breaches.
• Investigate incidents, prepare reports with corrective actions and coordinate with police, coast guard and other authorities when required.
• Supervise contract security personnel, ensuring proper deployment, discipline and shift management.
• Deliver security awareness programs and toolbox talks for employees and contractors.
• Ensure compliance with company security procedures, statutory regulations and HSE requirements.

Required profile

• Proven experience in site security or facilities security management.
• Ability to supervise and coordinate contract security staff.
• Strong communication skills for interacting with authorities and conducting awareness sessions.
• Knowledge of statutory security regulations and HSE standards.
