Security Executive Trainee

About the role

The Security Executive Trainee will support the protection of property, personnel, material and information across assigned areas. Working under the guidance of a manager and alongside a team of officers and outsourced staff, the trainee will learn on‑the‑job how to manage access control, asset protection and incident handling.

Key responsibilities

• Control access for men, material, information and vehicles in the designated zone.
• Monitor and verify incoming/outgoing vehicles, personnel and material, ensuring proper logging.
• Conduct random checks using metal detectors, mirror trolleys and other security gadgets.
• Validate material gate passes and authorized signatures.
• Maintain smooth, incident‑free traffic flow for people and vehicles on company premises.
• Support strategic improvements to the Access Control System.
• Protect critical infrastructure and company assets.
• Ensure security operations follow established processes and handle deviations.
• Maintain security infrastructure, gadgets and automation.
• Develop internal and external security intelligence networks.
• Deliver security awareness programs and daily toolbox talks for employees and contract workers.

Required profile

• Graduate in any discipline.
• Holder of NCC "C" Certificate.
• 0–2 years of relevant experience or fresh graduate.
