Security Engineer

About the role

Turvo is seeking a Security Engineer to design, implement and manage enterprise‑wide security solutions across cloud, endpoint and network environments. The role will support our collaborative Transportation Management System platform and ensure the protection of customer data and infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Design, configure and administer security tools including SIEM, EDR/XDR, firewalls, IDS/IPS, email and cloud security solutions.
• Manage and optimize CrowdStrike Falcon for endpoint protection, threat hunting and incident response.
• Implement Zscaler ZIA and ZPA services to provide secure web access and Zero‑Trust networking.
• Secure AWS workloads using IAM, GuardDuty, Security Hub, CloudTrail, Config, KMS, VPC, WAF and related controls.
• Monitor alerts, investigate incidents, perform root‑cause analysis and coordinate remediation.
• Develop and tune detection rules, policies and security controls across cloud, network and endpoint telemetry.
• Support vulnerability management, security assessments and remediation activities.
• Integrate security platforms with SIEM/SOAR, automate repetitive tasks via scripting or APIs, and maintain documentation and compliance evidence.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 + years of hands‑on experience with AWS, CrowdStrike and Zscaler.
• Experience working in a Security Operations Center or similar environment.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash or PowerShell.
• Strong collaboration skills with infrastructure, network, cloud, DevOps and application teams.
• Self‑motivated, proactive and able to learn quickly.
