Security Consultant – Intelligence & Operations

About the role

IBM Consulting is seeking a Security Consultant specialized in Intelligence & Operations to help client IT teams understand and mitigate security risks. You will work closely with leading enterprises, applying IBM’s security platforms and threat‑intelligence expertise to protect their hybrid cloud and AI environments.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and recommend security strategies, programs, and mitigation measures based on security intelligence and counter‑threat insights.
• Enhance client security posture through proactive threat hunting and intelligence‑driven defense.
• Explain IBM’s Security Intelligence and Operations Center (SIOC) and SIEM capabilities, including financial implications.
• Leverage tools such as QRadar to analyze, investigate, and remediate cyber threats.
• Collaborate with client IT stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver tailored security solutions.

Required profile

• Master’s degree or equivalent advanced education.
• Hands‑on experience with security intelligence, threat analysis, and counter‑threat intelligence concepts.
• Proven ability to translate technical security findings into actionable business recommendations.
• Strong communication skills for articulating complex security topics to diverse audiences.
