Security Bodyguard & Driver (VIP Protection)

About the role

The Security Bodyguard cum Driver provides close protection to VIP clients while safely operating their vehicle. This dual‑role position requires vigilance, defensive driving expertise, and the ability to respond quickly to emergencies.

Key responsibilities

• Provide close physical protection to designated clients during travel and public appearances.
• Conduct route surveys, risk assessments, and coordinate contingency plans.
• Operate assigned sedan, SUV or armored vehicle in compliance with traffic rules and VIP protocols.
• Perform pre‑trip vehicle checks, maintain cleanliness and roadworthiness.
• React promptly to attacks, medical emergencies, or road incidents and evacuate the principal safely.
• Maintain strict confidentiality of client schedules and personal information.
• Secure the vehicle when parked and monitor surroundings for potential threats.

Required profile

• Minimum 10th pass (12th preferred); valid LMV driving licence.
• 3‑5 years accident‑free driving experience.
• 3‑7 years experience in personal security or VIP driving; ex‑serviceman or PSO background preferred.
• Age 28‑50 years; minimum height 5’8” (172 cm) and physically fit.

Required skills

• Defensive/evasive driving techniques.
• First‑aid administration.
• Knowledge of security protocols and threat assessment.
