Security Analyst II

About the role

Netrix Global is seeking an experienced Security Analyst II to join its 24/7 Security Operations Center. You will defend client environments and internal infrastructure, lead incident investigations, and contribute to threat hunting and automation initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Independently manage and resolve security incidents end‑to‑end, performing root‑cause analysis and driving continuous improvement.
• Analyze complex security logs, SIEM alerts and correlated data to identify, assess and remediate threats.
• Maintain and enhance security tools, create and refine SIEM use cases, and develop detection logic based on threat intelligence.
• Collaborate with global security teams to improve processes, tooling and operational best practices.
• Mentor junior analysts and support 24/7 SOC monitoring and response coverage.

Required profile

• 4+ years of experience in information security or related cybersecurity roles.
• Hands‑on experience in a SOC environment with exposure to SIEM, endpoint and network security technologies.
• 2+ years working with cloud environments and cloud‑native security tools.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills, able to work across time zones.
• Ability to stay calm under pressure and manage incidents methodically.

Required skills

• SIEM platforms: Azure Sentinel, QRadar, Splunk.
• Network & endpoint security: Cisco IDS/IPS, Palo Alto, McAfee Security Suite.
• Vulnerability & access control: Tenable Nessus, ForeScout, Cisco ISE.
• Scripting/automation: Python, PowerShell, Bash.
• Linux syslog analysis, query languages (KQL, SQL), API knowledge.
• Cloud security principles and tools.
