Section Head – Medical Services (Occupational Health)

About the role

UltraTech is seeking a Section Head for Medical Services to lead occupational health initiatives at its Sedam site. The role involves overseeing comprehensive medical care, emergency preparedness, and health promotion for employees.

Key responsibilities

• Provide end‑to‑end occupational health services, including medical care, diagnosis, follow‑up, statutory examinations, disease monitoring and confidential record‑keeping.
• Ensure 24/7 emergency medical readiness, lead incident response, and maintain medical equipment and ambulance services.
• Guarantee statutory compliance and fulfil all legal health requirements.
• Drive preventive healthcare programmes, raise health awareness, analyse health trends and support initiatives that improve employee wellbeing and reduce absenteeism.
• Oversee occupational health facilities, manage medical supplies inventory, control budgets efficiently and coordinate with external healthcare providers and insurers.

Required profile

• Medical degree (MBBS) – essential, with AFIH qualification.
• 3 to 8 years of relevant experience in occupational health or medical services.
• Fluency in Kannada (mandatory).
• Strong ability to coordinate with internal and external stakeholders and manage emergency situations.
