Section Head - Civil

About the role

The Section Head – Civil is responsible for leading civil construction projects, ensuring they stay within budget, meet quality standards and comply with safety, health and environmental regulations. The role also oversees the maintenance of civil infrastructure within the facility and drives the implementation of integrated management and sustainability systems.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and review plant civil work to achieve budgeted construction costs and schedules.
• Lead site teams to deliver construction activities on time and according to plan.
• Manage the capitalization and billing of civil assets.
• Implement Integrated Management System (IMS), Operational Excellence (OpEx) and sustainability initiatives to support business excellence.
• Ensure full compliance with statutory SHE requirements and the Dupont safety system for uninterrupted operations.

Required profile

• Proven experience overseeing civil construction projects and infrastructure maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of budgeting, resource optimization and quality control in a plant environment.
• Familiarity with safety, health and environmental standards and procedures.
