About the role
We are seeking a Batching Plant Operator to lead the planning and organization of resources at our ready‑mix concrete (RMC) plant. The role focuses on achieving high productivity, optimal resource utilization and operational excellence while adhering to safety and statutory requirements.
Key responsibilities
- Plan, schedule and coordinate plant resources to maximise output and capacity utilisation.
- Monitor and enforce safety standards and statutory compliances throughout plant operations.
- Control costs to ensure the plant operates in a cost‑effective manner.
- Collaborate with plant staff to meet performance targets and key result areas (KRAs).
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and profitability.
Required profile
- Strong ability to organise and plan operational activities.
- Focus on delivering high performance against defined KRAs.
- Commitment to safety, quality and regulatory compliance.
- Understanding of the competitive RMC market and the need for superior service delivery.
