Contracts & Billing Engineer – Gujarat

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Contracts & Billing Engineer to join a reputed engineering consultancy and project management organization in Jamnagar, Gujarat. The role involves managing contract administration and commercial activities throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Administer contracts, work orders, purchase orders and subcontract agreements.
• Review contractor/subcontractor running bills, invoices and payment applications, verifying quantities, rates and supporting documents.
• Coordinate with engineering, construction, planning, procurement and project controls teams for progress measurement and billing.
• Monitor contractual milestones, deliverables, payment terms and commercial obligations.
• Evaluate variation orders, extra items, deviations and change orders, and prepare claims and counter‑claims.
• Track contract value, committed cost, actual expenditure and forecast costs, identifying commercial risks.

Required profile

• 15‑20 years of experience in EPC, engineering consultancy or infrastructure projects.
• BE/B.Tech in Civil or Electrical Engineering.
• Proven experience in contract administration, billing and cost control.
