Search Engine Optimization Executive

About the role

The SEO Executive will lead Karma Group's organic search strategy, ensuring the brand is visible and trusted across traditional search engines and emerging AI‑powered platforms. You will work closely with the GEO & ORM Executive, content, web development and AI teams to build scalable, future‑ready search solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive technical, on‑page and off‑page SEO audits and implement optimisation plans.
• Perform keyword research, search intent analysis and content optimisation to drive sustainable organic growth.
• Manage website architecture, crawlability, indexation, Core Web Vitals and structured data (Schema Markup).
• Develop and execute AI Search, Answer Engine Optimisation (AEO) and Generative Engine Optimisation (GEO) strategies.
• Oversee Local SEO, International SEO (hreflang) and multi‑site environments.
• Monitor SEO performance, interpret analytics and recommend improvements.
• Support online reputation management by monitoring reviews, handling high‑priority issues and ensuring business profiles contribute positively to search visibility.

Required profile

• 2–5 years of proven SEO experience, with a strong focus on technical SEO.
• Experience managing medium to large or multi‑site websites, preferably in hospitality, travel or lifestyle sectors.
• Familiarity with emerging AI search trends, Google AI Overviews and LLM optimisation.
• Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS or JavaScript for technical implementations.
