Search Engine Optimization Analyst

About the role

Mentor Match, the UAE’s leading online tutoring platform, is looking for a solo SEO Analyst to own its organic search presence. You will be responsible for everything from strategy and technical audits to content creation and performance reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct regular technical SEO audits (crawlability, indexation, site speed, Core Web Vitals, structured data).
• Manage on‑page optimisation for all service and landing pages and coordinate fixes with the dev/design team.
• Build and maintain a keyword‑driven content calendar targeting parent and student search intent.
• Write, edit and publish 4–6 SEO‑focused blog posts per month, and optimise existing pages for better rankings.
• Research competitor comparison keywords (e.g., “MentorMatch vs Preply”).
• Perform keyword research across UAE, India and US markets and multiple curricula.
• Track keyword rankings, traffic and conversions; produce weekly/monthly performance reports.
• Identify new content opportunities such as subject pages, location pages and FAQ clusters.
• Execute basic link‑building outreach to educational sites, parenting blogs and tutoring directories.

Required profile

• 2–4 years of hands‑on SEO experience (agency or in‑house, ed‑tech preferred).
• Strong English writing skills with the ability to produce publish‑ready blog content.
• Comfort working independently without a dedicated content writer or SEO team.
• Understanding of international SEO (hreflang, multi‑region targeting) is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Ahrefs or SEMrush.
• Google Search Console, GA4 and Screaming Frog.
• Experience using Webflow, WordPress or similar CMS platforms.
