SDET - Cypress / Playwright

About the role

We are seeking a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to lead the design, development, and maintenance of automated testing solutions for our SaaS‑based web platform that supports health‑plan and provider organizations.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with development and QA teams to create test plans and both automated and manual test cases for web applications.
• Develop and maintain JavaScript‑based end‑to‑end automation scripts using Cypress, Playwright or CodeceptJS.
• Design, develop and execute automated API tests and perform performance, load and stress testing.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and ensure testing standards for quality and consistency.
• Continuously evaluate new testing tools and methodologies to improve processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in software development with a focus on test automation for SaaS web applications.
• Strong programming skills in JavaScript, Java or Python.
• Experience with API testing tools and SQL for data validation.
• Hands‑on experience with CI/CD platforms and containerized test execution (Docker).
