Scrum Master – Agile Coach for Digital Hub

About the role

As a Scrum Master at BASF’s Digital Hub in Hyderabad, you will coach cross‑functional Scrum teams and the broader DevHub in adopting and continuously improving Agile ways of working. You will partner with Product Owners and stakeholders to translate product priorities into clear, actionable goals while fostering a self‑managed, high‑performing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Guide and coach Scrum teams and the DevHub on effective Agile practices.
• Support Product Owners in backlog refinement, prioritisation and alignment with organisational goals.
• Assess and raise the Agile maturity of teams, driving continuous improvement.
• Translate product priorities into clear team objectives and actionable improvements.
• Reduce waste, limit unnecessary complexity and improve flow to focus on high‑impact work.
• Adapt Agile practices pragmatically to each team’s context.
• Promote strong communication and collaboration across the platform for shared decision‑making.
• Assist Product Managers and key stakeholders in shaping the platform within an Agile or scaled framework.
• Identify improvement opportunities and contribute to an Agile roadmap.
• Facilitate effective meetings, decision‑making and a safe environment for open discussion.
• Help teams resolve impediments, blockers and conflicts autonomously.

Required profile

• Proven experience coaching Scrum teams and Product Owners.
• Strong ability to assess Agile maturity and drive continuous improvement.
• Excellent facilitation and communication skills.
• Capability to translate strategic priorities into clear team goals.
• Comfort working in a fast‑moving, digital‑focused environment.
