About the role
The School Security Officer ensures a safe and secure environment for students, staff, and visitors. Working on campus, you will monitor security systems, patrol the grounds, and respond promptly to any incidents or emergencies.
Key responsibilities
- Monitor security cameras and alarm systems throughout the school premises.
- Patrol school grounds and buildings to deter and detect security risks.
- Enforce safety policies, procedures, and school rules.
- Respond to security incidents, emergencies, and alarms in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate security logs, incident reports, and daily activity records.
Required profile
- Previous experience in security roles, preferably within an educational setting.
- Relevant security certifications or qualifications.
- Strong vigilance, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
- Knowledge of standard security protocols and safeguarding procedures.
