School Housekeeping Staff

About the role

The housekeeping staff member will maintain cleanliness and hygiene throughout CS Academy’s campus, ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for students, teachers, and visitors. This full‑time onsite role involves daily cleaning of classrooms, offices, restrooms, corridors and common areas.

Key responsibilities

• Clean classrooms, corridors, staff rooms, washrooms and common areas on a daily basis.
• Sweep, mop, dust and vacuum floors and furniture.
• Disinfect high‑touch surfaces such as desks, doorknobs, switches and railings.
• Empty trash bins and dispose of waste according to school procedures.
• Replenish restroom supplies including soap, tissue and toilet paper.
• Clean windows, glass doors and notice boards regularly.
• Report maintenance issues (e.g., broken fixtures, leaks) to the supervisor.
• Assist with setup and post‑event cleaning for school functions.
• Maintain cleaning tools and supplies in good condition.
• Follow all health and safety protocols at all times.
