Chef Cook

About the role

The Chef Cook will lead daily kitchen operations in Coimbatore, planning menus, preparing a variety of dishes, and ensuring consistent taste and presentation. This full‑time, on‑site role focuses on maintaining high standards of hygiene, food safety, and efficient service.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and prepare daily menus, cooking regional and international dishes.
• Manage kitchen operations, including cleanliness, hygiene, and equipment maintenance.
• Monitor food quality, safety standards, and presentation consistency.
• Handle inventory of ingredients, control portions, and optimize cost‑effective use of supplies.
• Coordinate with team members to ensure timely meal service and support special events or client meetings.
• Develop new recipes and adapt dishes to dietary requirements as needed.

Required profile

• Strong culinary skills with knowledge of regional and international cuisines.
• Experience in meal planning, preparation, and menu development.
• Ability to maintain high kitchen hygiene and follow food safety regulations.
• Proven experience in kitchen operations, inventory management, and portion control.
• Good time‑management, communication, and teamwork abilities.
• Prior experience as a cook or chef; culinary certification is a plus.
• Willingness to work on‑site in Coimbatore with flexible shifts, weekends, and holidays.
