SAP‑Proficient Accountant (1‑Year Experience)

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Accountant with solid SAP experience to join our finance team. The role involves managing day‑to‑day accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial records, and supporting statutory compliance for a trading/distribution business.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate bookkeeping and post daily transactions in SAP.
• Prepare monthly financial statements, management reports and perform ledger scrutiny.
• Handle accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations and cash flow monitoring.
• Manage GST, TDS filings and other statutory compliance requirements.
• Coordinate with internal auditors and external audit firms during audit cycles.

Required profile

• 1–3 years of professional accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial processes and statutory regulations.
• Excellent communication and analytical abilities.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with SAP ERP for finance.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Familiarity with accounting software and GST/TDS processes.
