About the role
We are seeking a detail‑oriented Accountant with solid SAP experience to join our finance team. The role involves managing day‑to‑day accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial records, and supporting statutory compliance for a trading/distribution business.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain accurate bookkeeping and post daily transactions in SAP.
- Prepare monthly financial statements, management reports and perform ledger scrutiny.
- Handle accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations and cash flow monitoring.
- Manage GST, TDS filings and other statutory compliance requirements.
- Coordinate with internal auditors and external audit firms during audit cycles.
Required profile
- 1–3 years of professional accounting experience.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial processes and statutory regulations.
- Excellent communication and analytical abilities.
Required skills
- Hands‑on experience with SAP ERP for finance.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Familiarity with accounting software and GST/TDS processes.
