SAP Security Authorizations Specialist for Cloud

About the role

We are looking for an SAP Security Authorizations Specialist to design, implement and maintain role‑based access controls for SAP S/4HANA on‑premise and public cloud environments. The role will focus on translating business requirements into secure SAP authorizations and automating the role‑assignment lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse business processes and the SAP landscape to define best‑practice role‑management rules.
• Design, configure and fine‑tune authorizations for S/4HANA, Fiori, ECC6 and related cloud products.
• Perform root‑cause analysis of segregation‑of‑duties (SOD) conflicts and work with business owners to resolve them.
• Support IT self‑audits, user‑access recertifications and security compliance reviews.
• Automate role‑assignment and validation processes, maintain the associated catalog and tooling.
• Translate functional requirements into technical solutions, conduct unit and end‑to‑end testing, and oversee production rollout.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across projects, upgrades and migrations.

Required profile

• Graduate with 4‑7 years of experience in SAP authorizations and role design for S/4HANA (cloud and on‑premise).
• At least 4 years of experience with SAP S/4HANA, SAP Fiori, SAP BI and SAP Java/Portal authorizations.
• Minimum 2 years in SAP audit, governance and segregation‑of‑duties management.
• Hands‑on experience with Identity and Access Governance and SAP Cloud product authorizations.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
