SAP MDM Consultant – Application Support & Maintenance

About the role

The role involves providing application support and maintenance for SAP Master Data Management (MDM) and Master Data Governance (MDG) solutions. You will work closely with end‑users, handling tickets via ServiceNow and ensuring smooth operation of master data processes.

Key responsibilities

• Handle incident, problem and service request tickets in SAP MDM & MDG, following ITIL best practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve stuck, failed or locked change requests, configure CR types and steps.
• Monitor and repair rule‑based workflows in BRF+, adjust routing and agent determinations.
• Analyze custom validations, derivations and duplicate checks using BRF+ and maintain integration mappings between SAP MDG and downstream systems.
• Debug Web Dynpro ABAP components, Floorplan Manager (FPM) configurations and resolve IDoc, DRF and SOA web‑service errors.

Required profile

• B.E/B.Tech/MBA with at least 4 years of experience in SAP R/3, S/4, MDM and MDG consulting.
• Good understanding of ITIL processes and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
