SAP Data Migration Specialist

About the role

We are seeking an experienced SAP Data Migration Specialist to lead complex migration projects for core SAP modules. The role involves planning, executing, and validating data transfers from legacy systems to SAP environments, ensuring data quality and business continuity.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement migration strategies for SAP SD, CS, PM, MM, and FICO modules.
• Analyse source data, map it to SAP structures, and design migration templates using Microsoft Excel.
• Utilise advanced Excel functions for data cleansing, transformation, and validation.
• Create and run LSMW and SAP data upload processes, and develop custom scripts when required.
• Perform end‑to‑end testing, including integration testing and data reconciliation.
• Collaborate with functional consultants and business teams to align data with business requirements.
• Document migration procedures, mappings, and provide training to client teams.
• Troubleshoot migration issues and ensure data integrity across all modules.

Required profile

• 7‑9 years of hands‑on experience in SAP data migration.
• Strong knowledge of SAP SD, CS, PM, MM, and FICO modules.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for large‑scale data manipulation.
• Experience with LSMW, SAP data upload tools, and custom scripting.
