Salesforce Platform Architect (Senior Technical Leader)

About the role

AVEVA is seeking a senior technical leader to own the end‑to‑end architecture of its Salesforce ecosystem. The Platform Architect will define strategy, enforce standards, and ensure scalability and security across multiple product domains.

Key responsibilities

• Define and evolve the Salesforce platform vision, strategy and roadmap aligned with enterprise goals.
• Establish architecture standards, design patterns and guardrails; lead design authority reviews.
• Provide oversight for cross‑domain initiatives, including integrations, data models and shared services.
• Govern integration strategy, APIs, platform events and data‑architecture consistency.
• Define security architecture, RBAC models and ensure compliance with audit, regulatory and SOX requirements.
• Partner with DevOps to shape CI/CD pipelines, release processes and environment models.
• Promote reuse, standardisation and knowledge sharing; mentor solution architects and senior developers.

Required profile

• Proven experience designing large‑scale, multi‑cloud Salesforce solutions.
• Strong background in integration patterns (API‑led, event‑driven) and data governance.
• Deep understanding of security architecture, access controls and compliance frameworks.
• Hands‑on experience with CI/CD, release management and DevOps tooling.
• Ability to influence and enforce architecture standards across distributed teams.
