About the role

Vedantu is looking for a dynamic Sales Team Lead to head its Renewals function. You will manage a team of Renewal Sales Executives, driving upgrades and upsells for existing customers across Phonics, Maths, Public Speaking, and Coding programs.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of 8–12 Renewal Sales Executives, ensuring they meet daily, weekly, and monthly revenue targets.
  • Monitor renewal outreach, upgrade pitch quality, objection handling, and closure rates, and intervene on high‑value or complex deals.
  • Identify performance gaps, conduct regular training on consultative selling, product knowledge, and competitive positioning.
  • Handle parent escalations related to renewals or upgrades, delivering fast and empathetic resolutions.
  • Track and report renewal metrics to the Sales Manager, sharing insights on churn signals, account health, and upgrade readiness.
  • Coordinate with product, academic operations, and customer success teams to remove blockers to renewal or upgrade.

Required profile

  • Strong leadership and people‑management capabilities.
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Hindi; regional language proficiency is a plus.
  • High ownership mindset with a focus on retention, growth, and target achievement.
