Sales Team Lead – Inside Sales

About the role

Policybazaar is seeking an experienced Sales Team Lead to manage and motivate a high‑performing inside‑sales (telesales) team. The role focuses on achieving B2C sales targets, driving operational excellence, and ensuring adherence to company policies and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, manage and motivate inside‑sales teams to meet daily, weekly and monthly sales targets.
• Monitor team productivity, conversion rates and overall sales performance.
• Coach, mentor and provide regular feedback to improve team effectiveness.
• Manage operational metrics such as attrition, shrinkage, productivity, occupancy and team performance.
• Conduct performance reviews and implement action plans for continuous improvement.
• Maintain MIS reports and track team performance against KPIs.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, sales processes and quality standards.
• Collaborate with Training, Quality and Operations teams to drive business objectives.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of overall sales experience, preferably in B2C inside sales or telesales.
• At least 2 years of experience handling and leading a sales team.
• Strong exposure to inside‑sales/telesales operations and metric management.
• Graduation degree is mandatory.
• Fluency in Telugu is mandatory.
