Sales Representative

About the role

3M is seeking a Sales Representative to drive profitable growth of MedSurg products through channel partners in the assigned region. You will manage opportunity pipelines, execute operating plans, and collaborate closely with distributors and sub‑distributors to expand market coverage.

Key responsibilities

• Increase MedSurg sales via channel partners by managing opportunities and following defined processes.
• Conduct monthly Joint Business Plans (JBPs) with partners and ensure agreements are in place.
• Meet AR metrics, adhere to credit policy, and oversee POS data transmission and quality.
• Collect and review bank guarantees (BG) and manage ACH mandates for channels.
• Implement channel engagement programs such as Privilege Club and Reseller Loyalty.
• Maintain 45‑60 days of stock with partners to ensure service levels.
• Hire, coach, train, and evaluate Distributor Sales Representatives (DSRs) to boost performance.
• Develop sub‑distributors and expand the sub‑distributor database.
• Provide accurate monthly forecasts and submit chargeback claims promptly.
• Validate POS data for secondary sales and drive Littmann product market share.

Required profile

• Proven experience in channel sales and opportunity management, preferably in MedSurg or related healthcare sectors.
• Strong ability to meet AR targets and comply with credit and guarantee policies.
• Experience handling POS implementation, data validation, and ACH processes.
• Capability to coach and motivate distributor sales teams.
• Analytical mindset to monitor market trends, competitive strategies, and forecast sales accurately.
