Sales Officer

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Sales Officer to drive growth across new and existing markets. You will lead lead‑generation activities, build strong relationships with key customers and channel partners, and support the front‑line sales force.

Key responsibilities

• Generate leads and explore new target markets.
• Plan and coordinate sales activities.
• Identify and nurture relationships with key customers and channel partners.
• Analyse sales reports to refine strategies.
• Implement promotional campaigns and marketing initiatives.
• Collaborate with clients on category‑management projects.
• Drive sales through appropriate distribution channels.
• Enhance customer experience and maintain relationships.
• Train and lead front‑line sales staff and distributor/stockist teams.
• Monitor market trends, track competitor activity and provide insights.

Required profile

• 3‑6 years of experience in retail performance, brand management or channel operations.
• Proven strategic thinking, leadership and retail analytics abilities.
• Experience developing go‑to‑market and pricing strategies.
• Familiarity with new product development and channel planning.
• Strong communication skills in regional languages and excellent interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work autonomously, meet sales targets and drive process improvements.
