About the role
AVEVA is seeking a Sales Director for its Engineering, Procurement & Construction (EPC) and Marine & Shipbuilding segments in India. Reporting to the VP Sales & Market Leader – India, this senior leader will shape market strategy, build high‑performing sales teams, and drive growth across the full customer lifecycle.
Key responsibilities
- Define and execute a differentiated growth strategy for EPC and Marine aligned with India and global priorities.
- Translate market trends, capex cycles, and customer insights into actionable go‑to‑market plans.
- Build, lead, and coach a high‑performing sales organization, developing succession‑ready talent.
- Own end‑to‑end GTM strategy, including segmentation, target accounts, and partner alignment.
- Establish executive relationships with EPC CXOs, shipyard leaders, owner‑operators, and defense stakeholders.
- Institutionalize MEDDPICC sales methodology and ensure rigorous account planning, deal reviews, and forecasting.
- Collaborate with presales, marketing, services, finance, legal, and global teams to deliver a unified AVEVA experience.
- Deliver measurable growth in revenue, pipeline, new logos, and platform adoption.
Required profile
- Minimum 18+ years of experience in sales leadership within EPC, marine, or related industrial sectors.
- Proven ability to shape market strategy and drive revenue growth at a senior level.
- Demonstrated track record of building and coaching high‑performing sales teams.
- Strong executive presence with the ability to influence C‑level stakeholders.
Required skills
- Deep knowledge of EPC and marine industry business models and project lifecycles.
- Expertise in MEDDPICC sales operating rhythm.
- Strategic account planning and forecasting capabilities.
