About the role
AVEVA is seeking an experienced Sales Account Manager to lead software sales within the Life Sciences and Pharmaceutical sector across India. The role focuses on acquiring new business and expanding relationships with existing customers, while working remotely and travelling across the country as needed.
Key responsibilities
- Drive new software sales and achieve revenue targets in Life Sciences and Pharmaceutical accounts.
- Manage and grow strategic accounts, increasing AVEVA’s footprint within existing customers.
- Build and maintain a robust pipeline of opportunities and provide accurate sales forecasts.
- Develop trusted relationships with C‑level executives and key decision‑makers.
- Collaborate with solution consultants, product specialists, marketing teams, and partners to advance opportunities.
Required profile
- 8–12 years of enterprise software sales or account management experience.
- Proven track record selling software solutions to pharmaceutical or Life Sciences organisations.
- Experience handling complex B2B sales cycles with multiple stakeholders.
- At least 50% of career focused on software sales.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, IT or a related field.
