Room Attendant

About the role

We are looking for a dedicated Room Attendant to join The Altruist Hotels in Maharashtra, India. In this full‑time, on‑site position you will ensure that guest rooms and public areas are immaculate, creating a welcoming atmosphere for every visitor.

Key responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize guest rooms, including dusting, vacuuming, and bathroom upkeep.
• Make beds and replenish all in‑room amenities according to hotel standards.
• Maintain cleanliness of corridors, lobbies, and other common areas.
• Handle laundry duties such as washing, ironing, sorting and delivering linens.
• Collect and dispose of waste in compliance with safety procedures.
• Respond promptly to guest requests for additional supplies or services.

Required profile

• Proven ability to perform room cleaning, bed‑making and general housekeeping tasks.
• Experience with laundry operations, including washing and ironing.
• Strong communication and customer‑service orientation.
• Knowledge of housekeeping best practices and safety standards.
• Physical stamina to lift, bend and repeat movements throughout the shift.
• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays and varying shifts.
• Previous experience in hospitality or housekeeping is a plus.
