Retention Marketing Manager (WhatsApp & CRM)

About the role

The Wellness Shop is seeking a Retention Marketing Manager to drive repeat purchases and deepen customer engagement for its D2C beauty, wellness and personal‑care brand. The role will focus on WhatsApp‑based campaigns, automation flows and CRM‑driven content strategies.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute and optimise WhatsApp campaigns, including broadcasts, automated journeys (abandoned‑cart, order updates, re‑engagement, upsell/cross‑sell).
• Segment users by behaviour, purchase history and engagement; track performance metrics such as CTR, conversions and revenue.
• Integrate WhatsApp tools (Interakt, WATI, AiSensy, Gupshup) with Shopify, website and CRM platforms; manage APIs and automation workflows.
• Develop a monthly retention calendar, write high‑converting copy for WhatsApp, SMS and email, and collaborate with design on creatives.
• Improve repeat‑purchase rate, customer LTV and conversion rates from CRM channels; launch re‑activation campaigns and loyalty offers.

Required profile

• 1‑3 years of experience in retention, CRM or lifecycle marketing, preferably in a D2C environment.
• Hands‑on experience with WhatsApp marketing platforms and basic understanding of customer journeys.
• Strong copywriting skills focused on conversion.
• Familiarity with Shopify and the broader D2C ecosystem.
