Retail AGM – Food Program Deployment

About the role

Sodexo is looking for an experienced Retail Assistant General Manager to lead the deployment of new food programs, concepts and menus across client sites in Mumbai. You will act as the bridge between corporate culinary strategy and on‑site execution, ensuring successful roll‑outs and operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the launch of new food concepts from pilot to full‑scale operations, creating on‑site playbooks, kitchen layouts and inventory workflows.
• Act as the on‑ground fixer during go‑live weeks, identifying bottlenecks in service speed or food consistency and adjusting procedures in real time.
• Own daily P&L for assigned units, meeting food cost and labor productivity targets.
• Conduct menu engineering by reviewing sales data, removing low‑performing items and promoting high‑margin offerings.
• Maintain strong relationships with corporate client points of contact, presenting program impact with data‑driven insights.
• Gather post‑launch feedback from site managers and customers to iterate on programs.
• Train unit managers and chef teams on new menus, emphasizing both execution and the value proposition for customers.
• Ensure compliance with Sodexo’s global safety, quality and SOP standards.

Required profile

• Experienced professional with a background in food service operations, retail food concepts and client management.
• Proven ability to manage financial performance, including P&L ownership and cost control.
• Strong analytical mindset for menu engineering and sales data review.
