Restaurant Manager (Luxury Hotel)

About the role

Raffles is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Restaurant Manager to lead the day‑to‑day operations of its upscale dining venue. You will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences while driving revenue and profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily restaurant operations, maintaining high standards of food quality and customer service.
• Develop and implement innovative strategies to enhance guest experience and increase revenue.
• Lead, mentor and motivate the restaurant team to achieve performance goals.
• Manage inventory, cost control and budgeting to maximise profitability.
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean, safe dining environment.
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to create and update menus aligned with market trends.
• Handle customer feedback promptly and resolve issues to maintain high satisfaction.
• Analyse sales data and market trends to inform business decisions.
• Coordinate with other hotel departments for special events and overall operations.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar restaurant management role, preferably in high‑end dining.
• Proven track record of leading and mentoring high‑performing teams.
• Strong interpersonal, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Passion for food, beverage and creating memorable guest experiences.
• Solid understanding of financial management, budgeting and cost control.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
• Flexibility to work early mornings, nights, weekends and holidays as needed.
• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred.

Required skills

• Proficiency with restaurant management software.
• Experience using point‑of‑sale (POS) systems.
