Food and Beverage Assistant

About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic, customer‑focused Food and Beverage Assistant to join our team at a leading 4‑star conference hotel in Scotland. You will work under the Food and Beverage Manager, supporting both hotel guests and conference delegates to ensure a consistently high standard of service.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high‑quality food and beverage service to guests.
• Set up and clear conference and dining spaces.
• Provide bar service and room service delivery.
• Handle cash and operate payment systems accurately.
• Assist with conference room set‑up and event delivery.
• Work flexible shift patterns, including early starts from 06:30 am.

Required profile

• Reliable, flexible and well presented.
• Enjoy working as part of a team in a fast‑paced environment.
• Previous experience in hospitality or customer service is advantageous but not essential.
• Willingness to undertake full training.
