Resident Medical Officer

About the role

The Resident Medical Officer will join JSM Multispeciality Hospital in Sarangarh on a full‑time, on‑site basis. Reporting to senior physicians, the RMO provides primary medical care, manages acute and chronic conditions, and supports emergency response within a multidisciplinary team.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver primary medical consultations, diagnose and treat a wide range of illnesses.
• Respond to patient emergencies and coordinate urgent care.
• Assist in routine and specialized medical procedures, including surgical assistance under supervision.
• Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date patient records in compliance with hospital standards.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Train and supervise junior clinical staff, fostering knowledge sharing and best practices.

Required profile

• Valid medical license and a completed MBBS or equivalent degree.
• Proven ability to diagnose, treat, and manage both acute and chronic medical conditions.
• Experience working within a multidisciplinary healthcare team is advantageous.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for interaction with patients, families, and staff.
• Ability to make quick decisions in emergency situations.
