Resident Doctor

About the role

JSM Hospital is seeking a full‑time Resident Doctor to join its multidisciplinary team in Sarangarh. The role involves delivering both inpatient and outpatient care, supporting surgical and obstetric services, and participating in emergency response as needed.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct daily ward rounds and monitor patients before and after procedures.
• Assist in laparoscopic surgeries, hysteroscopy, gynecological and obstetric procedures.
• Provide emergency care and manage acute patient situations.
• Document clinical findings, update patient records, and ensure compliance with hospital protocols.
• Coordinate with consultants, nursing staff, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Participate in clinical discussions, continuous learning activities, and quality‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Recognized MBBS degree with valid medical council registration.
• Post‑graduate training or exposure in surgery, gynecology, or obstetrics (preferred).
• Strong clinical judgment, diagnostic ability, and familiarity with standard treatment protocols.
• Effective communication skills for interaction with patients, families, and team members.
• Willingness to work in shifts, handle emergencies, and maintain composure under pressure.
• Commitment to ethical practice, patient confidentiality, and ongoing professional development.
