Resident Assistant Coordinator – Campus Life

About the role

The Resident Assistant Coordinator (RAC) leads Ashoka University’s Residence Assistant programme, working under the Head of Residence Life Office. Based on the Sonipat campus, the RAC creates a vibrant, inclusive living environment that supports student well‑being, academic success and community development.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute end‑to‑end recruitment, selection and training of Resident Assistants and Resident Assistant Mentors.
• Build and nurture an inclusive residence‑hall community that promotes social, cultural and intellectual enrichment.
• Coordinate daily operations of the RA programme to ensure a transformative student experience.
• Collaborate with campus stakeholders to align residence‑life initiatives with the university’s mission and strategic goals.
• Monitor and evaluate programme outcomes, recommending innovative practices for continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Preferably 4–5 years of experience in a student‑centric role or residence‑life setting.
• Full‑time availability and willingness to work onsite at the Ashoka University campus.
• Strong leadership, collaboration and communication abilities.
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive, supportive environment for diverse student populations.
