Reservations Host – Luxury Resort

About the role

The Reservations Host will support Six Senses’ mission of reconnecting guests with themselves, others and the world through sustainable, wellness‑focused experiences. You will be the first point of contact for guests and travel agents, ensuring every reservation reflects the brand’s standards of emotional hospitality and responsible care.

Key responsibilities

• Run daily reports for the Reservations, Operations, Sales & Marketing teams.
• Process new reservations, update existing bookings, manage advance deposits and handle inbox emails within 24 hours.
• Generate and maintain reports such as No‑Shows, ORS comments and commissions.
• Allocate rooms, manage special requests, and block rooms as needed.
• Contact guests or agents to clarify preferences or resolve discrepancies before arrival.
• Track future room availability and update the internet reservation system in coordination with hosts.
• Assist in setting room rates based on resort selling tactics.
• Maintain guest history and profile information with accuracy.
• Uphold Six Senses guidelines, LQA standards and guest comment protocols.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality diploma/degree preferred.
• Minimum 1 year experience in reservations or a similar role within a luxury hotel or resort.
• Fluent English communication skills.
• Strong knowledge of hotel/resort reservation policies, discounts and MICE platforms.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
• Familiarity with hotel property management systems (PMS), global distribution systems (GDS) and central reservation systems (CRS).
• Ability to manage detailed booking procedures for both local and overseas guests.
