Reservation Executive – Hotel Front Office

About the role

We are looking for a Reservation Executive to join the pre‑opening team of Fairmont Udaipur Palace. The role involves managing room bookings across multiple channels while delivering a high standard of guest service.

Key responsibilities

• Handle reservations via phone, email, hotel website and OTAs (Booking.com, Expedia, Agoda, etc.).
• Check room availability, rates, types and booking restrictions.
• Create, modify, confirm and cancel bookings accurately in the PMS.
• Communicate rates, packages, facilities, policies and special offers to guests.
• Coordinate with Front Office, Sales, Housekeeping and Revenue teams on room availability and guest requirements.
• Maintain accurate reservation records and generate reports.
• Process advance deposits and payment requirements according to hotel policy.
• Monitor no‑shows, cancellations, amendments and overbooking situations.
• Promote room upgrades and additional hotel services.
• Handle guest requests such as early check‑in, late check‑out, room preferences and special occasions.
• Address reservation‑related complaints following SOPs.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Hotel Management, Hospitality Management or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in hotel reservations, front office or guest relations (preferred).
• Willingness to work shifts, weekends and holidays as required.

Required skills

• Proficiency with hotel PMS/reservation systems (e.g., Opera or similar).
• Familiarity with OTA platforms such as Booking.com, Expedia and Agoda.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and basic computer operations.
