About the role

The Sustainable Capital Research Foundation is seeking a remote Web Developer to design, build, and maintain web solutions that support its mission of advancing sustainable finance. This full‑time position involves both front‑end and back‑end development to deliver user‑friendly, high‑performance digital experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain websites and web applications, handling both front‑end and back‑end tasks.
• Implement innovative functionalities while ensuring speed, scalability, and reliability.
• Optimize sites for performance, responsive design, and cross‑browser compatibility.
• Debug issues, perform testing, and continuously improve code quality.
• Collaborate with design, content, and research teams to integrate web solutions seamlessly.

Required profile

• Proficiency in back‑end development, including server‑side frameworks and database management.
• Strong front‑end skills with expertise in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Experience creating robust, functional websites and web applications.
• Knowledge of responsive design, cross‑browser compatibility, and SEO basics.
• Attention to detail, problem‑solving ability, and familiarity with version control (Git).
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or equivalent experience.
