Remote LLM Trainer – Agent Function Call

About the role

Turing is seeking a Remote LLM Trainer to help foundational large language model companies improve their assistants. You will design high‑quality multi‑turn conversations that showcase how an AI assistant can use function‑calling tools to achieve user goals.

Key responsibilities

• Design realistic multi‑turn dialogues between a user and an AI assistant that leverages tools such as calendar, email, maps, and drive.
• Play both the user and the assistant, inserting tool calls only when corrections or specific actions are required.
• Ensure logical flow, proper use of function calls, and adherence to formatting and quality guidelines.
• Generate examples that demonstrate successful task completion, graceful handling of infeasible requests, and natural chat when tools are unnecessary.
• Iterate on conversation drafts based on reviewer feedback to improve realism and clarity.
• Collaborate with peers to maintain consistency and high standards across all deliverables.

Required profile

• Strong technical reasoning ability and capacity to model real‑world assistant behavior.
• Aptitude for breaking down complex tasks into clear, step‑by‑step dialogues.
• Excellent written English with focus on clarity, tone, and instructional coherence.
• Experience with any programming language or tech stack; emphasis on logical thinking over specific tools.
