Remote IT Support Specialist

About the role

This full‑time remote position supports a growing US‑based company by being the first point of contact for clients and internal teams. You will troubleshoot hardware, software and network issues, maintain systems, and ensure smooth IT operations.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first‑level support via email, phone, and remote‑desktop tools.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network problems promptly.
• Assist in setup, configuration, and maintenance of company systems, hardware, and software.
• Guide users through problem‑solving processes and deliver training when needed.
• Escalate complex issues to the appropriate team or department.
• Maintain detailed records of incidents, resolutions, and configurations using a ticketing system.
• Support software deployment and updates, ensuring compatibility.
• Perform basic network troubleshooting, including connectivity issues and minor server maintenance.
• Track and analyze recurring incidents to improve system efficiency.

Required profile

• 2+ years of experience in an IT support role, preferably in a fast‑paced, customer‑facing environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English and Spanish.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities, capable of working independently.
• Proven track record of delivering outstanding customer service.

Required skills

• Windows, macOS, and Linux operating systems.
• Cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, and Azure.
• Remote‑desktop applications and ticketing systems.
• Fundamental networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs).
• Hardware troubleshooting and maintenance.
