Remote Data Science Instructor (12‑week contract)

About the role

The organization is seeking a remote Data Science Instructor to lead a 12‑week, intensive boot‑camp. You will deliver live, hands‑on training to aspiring data professionals, guiding them through real‑world projects and preparing them for industry roles.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct 2‑hour live teaching sessions daily, five days a week, following a pre‑designed curriculum.
• Provide real‑time assistance, answer questions, and run open office hours within a 4‑hour daily window.
• Integrate quizzes, demonstrations, and practice exercises to reinforce learning.
• Mentor students, track attendance, maintain records, and give constructive feedback on assignments and projects.
• Stay current with emerging data‑science tools and techniques and support students via email.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering or a related field (Tier‑1 Indian institutions preferred).
• Minimum 5 years of combined industry and teaching experience in data‑science or related domains.
• Professional experience in leading technology firms or consulting companies is a plus.

Required skills

• Python programming (NumPy, Pandas).
• Data‑visualisation tools such as Tableau or PowerBI.
• Database management with MongoDB or other NoSQL systems.
• Machine‑learning concepts and implementation.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) is advantageous.

What we offer

• Compensation of approximately INR 1.5 lakhs per month (total INR 4.5‑5 lakhs for the contract).
