Registered Nurse – Orthopedic Care

About the role

Ortho Central is seeking a full‑time Registered Nurse to join its orthopedic team in Kakkanad, Kochi. You will deliver direct patient care, support surgical procedures, and ensure a safe, compassionate environment for individuals with musculoskeletal conditions.

Key responsibilities

• Assess patient conditions, monitor vital signs, and administer medications.
• Assist with orthopedic procedures and prepare patients for treatment.
• Coordinate care with physicians, physiotherapists, and other allied health professionals.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medication use, and self‑care.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and comply with clinic protocols and regulatory standards.
• Participate in infection‑control measures, quality‑improvement initiatives, and safety programs.

Required profile

• Current Registered Nurse license valid for practice in the applicable jurisdiction and eligibility to work in Kochi.
• Diploma in Nursing from an accredited institution; GNM or ANM qualification.
• Strong clinical assessment skills, including patient monitoring, medication administration, and wound care.
• Ability to follow evidence‑based protocols, maintain detailed records, and use electronic health record systems.
• Effective communication, commitment to patient safety, infection prevention, and inclusive care practices.
• Flexibility to work shifts, strong organizational abilities, and capacity to manage multiple patients.
