Recruiter I (Entry‑Level Talent Acquisition)

About the role

The Recruiter I supports the organization’s staffing needs by identifying, attracting, and onboarding qualified talent. This entry‑level position works closely with hiring managers and various stakeholders to ensure a smooth and compliant recruitment process.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with the implementation and administration of recruitment programs.
• Receive, screen, and file incoming resumes, background checks, and references.
• Conduct initial screening, telephone, and face‑to‑face interviews with candidates.
• Provide hiring recommendations, partner with stakeholders to craft competitive compensation offers, and facilitate negotiations.
• Leverage internet, community organizations, print media, networks, colleges, and trade associations to source candidates.
• Maintain accurate records and reports in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and HRIS tools.
• Ensure compliance with local hiring regulations and uphold consistent standards for all applicants.
• Develop deep knowledge of job specifications, required experience, skills, and behavioral competencies.
• Promote the company’s image to candidates and external partners while upholding ethical recruiting practices.

Required profile

• Less than two years of relevant recruiting experience.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a high‑velocity environment.
• Self‑starter with a sense of urgency and ability to work under pressure.
• Professional demeanor with strong relationship‑building capabilities.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information.
