Receptionist

About the role

The Receptionist position at SK Residency is a full‑time, on‑site role based in Coimbatore. You will be the first point of contact for guests, ensuring smooth check‑in and check‑out experiences while supporting the overall operation of the front desk.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome guests and manage all check‑in and check‑out procedures.
• Answer phone calls, respond to guest inquiries, and provide information on rates, services, and local attractions.
• Coordinate room bookings and reservations using the hotel’s booking system.
• Handle payments, prepare basic daily reports, and maintain accurate guest records.
• Collaborate with housekeeping and other departments to address guest needs promptly.
• Perform general administrative duties to keep the reception area organized.

Required profile

• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Professional phone etiquette and ability to manage front‑desk interactions.
• Clerical abilities for record‑keeping and simple documentation.
• Basic computer literacy with familiarity in MS Office or hotel booking software.
• High school diploma or equivalent; prior hospitality or front‑office experience is a plus.
• Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and willingness to work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays.
