Quality Manager – TM Quality

About the role

The Quality Manager will lead all quality‑related activities for the site, ensuring compliance with Birla Quality Manual, industry standards and regulatory requirements. You will work closely with project teams, contractors and third‑party inspectors to drive continuous improvement and maintain high‑quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and budget quality activities, prepare site‑specific quality management plans and obtain approvals.
• Conduct kick‑off meetings, orient contractors on quality expectations and develop method statements.
• Inspect incoming materials, coordinate third‑party inspections and issue non‑conformance reports.
• Perform weekly site walk‑throughs, root‑cause analyses and manage corrective‑and‑preventive actions (CAPA).
• Lead internal and external audits, ensure audit readiness and close audit points within defined timelines.
• Deliver quality training sessions, maintain comprehensive inspection documentation and generate MIS reports.
• Identify improvement opportunities for the Quality Management System and oversee implementation.

Required profile

• Proven experience in planning, budgeting and executing quality activities on construction or industrial projects.
• Strong knowledge of quality standards, regulatory requirements and audit processes.
• Ability to conduct inspections, issue NC reports and drive corrective actions.
• Excellent documentation skills and experience preparing quality management plans and MIS reports.
• Effective communication and stakeholder‑management capabilities.
