Quality Manager – QA/QC (5‑7 yrs experience)

About the role

The Quality Manager will lead the Quality Assurance and Quality Control function, ensuring that raw materials, in‑process items and finished products meet defined standards. You will work closely with production, engineering and customer service teams to drive continuous improvement and maintain compliance with ISO requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Perform quality inspection of raw materials, in‑process materials, and finished products according to defined standards.
• Ensure compliance with ISO standards and maintain all quality‑related documentation and records.
• Monitor and control product quality at every stage of production.
• Conduct root cause analysis of quality issues and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Handle customer complaints effectively and lead process‑improvement initiatives to enhance satisfaction.
• Maintain and manage quality laboratory activities, including testing, calibration, and record keeping.
• Prepare and maintain quality reports, inspection records, test certificates, and other documentation.
• Coordinate with production and other departments to ensure adherence to quality requirements.
• Participate in internal and external quality audits and ensure compliance with the quality management system.
• Support continuous‑improvement projects aimed at zero‑defect manufacturing.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Engineering or a related technical field.
• 5–7 years of experience in Quality Assurance/Quality Control.
• Strong knowledge of ISO standards and quality management systems.
• Hands‑on experience inspecting raw materials, in‑process products, and finished goods.
• Proven ability to handle customer complaints and implement corrective actions.
• Familiarity with quality tools such as the 7 QC Tools, root‑cause analysis, CAPA, and continuous‑improvement methodologies.
• Good documentation, reporting and communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and quality‑related documentation systems.
