Quality Executive

About the role

The Quality Executive will support Oji India Packaging’s commitment to delivering high‑quality corrugated packaging solutions. Working closely with production and quality teams, you will help maintain standards, reduce defects and ensure customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in QA and QC activities and documentation.
• Support defect reduction, inspections and root‑cause analysis.
• Handle customer complaints, perform CAPA and drive continuous improvement.
• Train production and quality staff on standards and best practices.
• Monitor quality KPIs, prepare reports and lead improvement projects.
• Conduct vendor quality management and support customer audits.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Engineering, Quality, Packaging Technology or related field (preferred).
• Hands‑on experience in quality control and auditing within manufacturing or packaging.
• Strong analytical ability to interpret data, identify trends and recommend improvements.
• Effective communication skills for cross‑functional coordination.
• Ability to work on the shop floor, manage multiple priorities and maintain attention to detail.

Required skills

• Packaging testing standards: BCT, ECT, Cobb, GSM, Bursting strength.
• ISO 9001:2015 implementation and documentation.
• 7QC tools, PPAP, FMEA and control plan development.
• Vendor quality management and customer audit handling.
• Root‑cause analysis tools (5 Why, Fishbone) and basic statistical quality techniques.
